About Me

My name is Megan Elizabeth Thomas. I am currently located in Columbia, SC.

I am a Public Relations Specialist for the City of Columbia’s Public Relations, Media and Marketing Department. Within the department, I help our team promote all city departments, events, and initiatives through video production, graphic design and photography. I also write press releases, coordinate with media outlets, and manage project requests for our various city departments.

Through my brief experience with non-profit organizations personally and professionally, I have a deep interest in learning to promote this work from a marketing and media prespective. 

In my free time I am an avid YouTube lover and spend mornings laughing at videos. I love hearing my curated playlists while driving, traveling with my best friend, and asking my family about their day.
